Turkish authorities have nabbed one Fetullah Terrorist Organisation (FETO) suspect close to Türkiye’s border with Greece, safety sources have stated.
The FETO suspect, recognized solely by the initials BK, was detained on Monday in a restricted navy zone within the northwestern Edirne province, stated the sources, requesting anonymity attributable to restrictions on chatting with the media.
FETO orchestrated the defeated coup of July 15, 2016, in Türkiye, through which 251 folks had been killed and a couple of,734 injured.
Ankara accuses FETO of being behind a long-running marketing campaign to overthrow the state via the infiltration of Turkish establishments, notably the navy, police, and judiciary.
