Türkiye deployed 5 army transport planes, together with two A400M plane, to evacuate its remaining residents from conflict-torn Sudan, the nation’s protection chief mentioned on Thursday.
Speaking at an occasion in central Kayseri province, National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar mentioned: “We have assigned five of our aircraft for the evacuation of our remaining citizens to Türkiye. Also, he mentioned two A400M plane landed within the metropolis of Port Sudan. “We have information that there are 250 citizens. One of these planes will soon take off from Port Sudan to bring our citizens home.”
By Friday night, the evacuation of Turkish residents from Sudan might be accomplished, he mentioned.
