Türkiye and Italy have been coordinating in lots of areas together with migration, organized crime and terrorism, Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu stated on Monday.

“Apart from the fight against migrant smuggling and migration flow, there is a close cooperation and relationship between Italy and Türkiye in the fight against organized crime, cross-border crimes and drugs, and the fight against terrorism,” Soylu instructed a news convention along with his Italian counterpart Matteo Piantedosi within the capital Ankara.

Soylu stated the safety groups of Türkiye and Italy are in such contact with one another that they’ve the power and capability to intervene instantly in case of felony exercise.
