Türkiye has launched its first indigenous high-resolution Earth commentary satellite tv for pc IMECE into area.
The launch of IMECE happened early on Saturday at Vandenberg Space Force Base within the US state of California and was carried out by SpaceX.
The Turkish-made pioneering satellite tv for pc was because of blast off early on Friday however the launch was delayed because of dangerous climate.

Speaking after the launch of the satellite tv for pc, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan mentioned Türkiye carried out the design, manufacturing, meeting, integration and exams of IMECE itself.
With the launch of IMECE and deliberate launch of Türksat 6A, the variety of Türkiye’s satellites in area will attain 10, Erdogan mentioned.
In an announcement, the Industry and Technology Ministry mentioned that IMECE “will operate in orbit simultaneously with sun at an altitude of 680 kilometres (422.5 miles),” offering high-resolution satellite tv for pc imagery to Türkiye.
