The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 129 irregular migrants within the Aegean Sea.

Thirty-three of the migrants have been rescued from a rubber boat off Ayvacık district in Çanakkale province and 25 off Kusadası district in Aydın province, the Coast Guard Command mentioned Sunday on its web site.

Also, 71 migrants in a rubber boat off Izmir province have been rescued after being pushed into Turkish territorial waters by Greek forces, in line with the Coast Guard Command.

The migrants have been taken to the provincial migration administration directorate.

Türkiye and international rights teams have repeatedly condemned Greece’s unlawful apply of pushing again asylum seekers, saying it violates humanitarian values and worldwide regulation by endangering the lives of susceptible migrants, together with girls and youngsters.
