The Turkish Coast Guard on Friday rescued 48 irregular migrants within the Aegean Sea who had been illegally pushed again into Turkish territorial waters by Greek authorities.
Teams had been dispatched off the coast of Dikili in Türkiye’s Izmir province after studying of the 48 irregular migrants in peril, stated the Coast Guard Command on its web site.
The irregular migrants had been dropped at shore and brought to the provincial migration administration directorate, it added.
Türkiye and world rights teams have repeatedly condemned Greece’s unlawful observe of pushing again irregular migrants, saying it violates humanitarian values and worldwide legislation by endangering the lives of weak migrants, together with girls and kids.
