The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 49 irregular migrants within the Aegean Sea after Greek authorities pushed them again into Türkiye’s territorial waters, in response to a press release Thursday.

Coast guard models rescued 49 irregular migrants of Afghan nationality from a rubber boat off the coast of Ayvacik district in Canakkale province, stated the Coast Guard.

The migrants had been transported to the provincial migration division.

Türkiye and world rights teams have repeatedly condemned Greece’s unlawful follow of pushing again asylum seekers, saying it violates humanitarian values and worldwide legislation by endangering the lives of weak migrants, together with ladies and youngsters.
