Türkiye and the U.S. collectively froze the property of Daesh/ISIS terrorist group associates, the Turkish Foreign Ministry introduced on Thursday.

“Today, Türkiye and the United States decided to take a joint action on freezing the assets of 5 individuals and 2 legal persons who have been identified to finance the DAESH terrorist organization,” stated an announcement by the ministry.

Noting that additional data on the matter could possibly be obtained from a printed resolution by the Turkish Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the assertion stated Ankara would “continue to take effective steps on countering terrorism financing and cooperate with its international partners on the issue.”
