Türkiye won’t permit terror organizations alongside its southern Syria border, and northern Iraq, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday stated, reiterating Ankara’s resolute combat towards terrorism.

“We will by no means allow a terrorist organization in Türkiye’s south, Syria’s north, or Iraq’s north to exist,” Erdogan stated after the Cabinet assembly within the capital Ankara.

Turning to Syria’s northern metropolis, Erdogan stated: “We will ultimately secure the places near our border where terrorists cluster, particularly Tal Rifaat.”

In its greater than 35-year terror marketing campaign towards Türkiye, the PKK — listed as a terrorist group by Türkiye, the US, and EU — has been accountable for the deaths of greater than 40,000 folks, together with girls, kids, and infants.
