Türkiye’s quake: Puffy dog’s rescue from rubble melts hearts 

With solely his head and entrance legs rising from the rubble, a small canine was pulled to security in Iskenderun, a district of the southern Turkish province of Hatay Thursday.

The canine, known as Pamuk (Cotton), was among the many survivors of the 2 earthquakes that hit Hatay and 9 different provinces, in addition to Türkiye’s neighboring Syria on Feb. 6.

Search and rescue groups dug out the particles of a collapsed constructing surrounding the canine in Iskenderun’s Çay neighborhood to rescue him. The destiny of the canine’s proprietor stays unclear, whereas some media retailers reported that the proprietor was discovered lifeless contained in the rubble.
