Türkiye rescued over 40 irregular migrants and recovered the useless our bodies of two, together with a girl who was reportedly five-month pregnant, after Greek authorities illegally pushed them again into Turkish territorial waters, based on the Turkish Coast Guard Command.

Coast guard groups had been dispatched off the coast of Kusadasi within the Aegean Aydin province after they discovered there have been irregular migrants in an inflatable boat on Wednesday.

A complete of 43 individuals who had been pushed again by Greek authorities had been rescued, it mentioned in a press release.

‘We might have all died’

One of the rescued irregular migrants mentioned that they set sail late Tuesday and travelled for over 4 hours.

Another migrant mentioned Greek Coast Guard groups dismantled the engine of their boat and threw it into the ocean. “There were high waves and storms. They were constantly creating waves with their boats.”

Later, he said another Greek Coast Guard ship came and “we thought they would act better, but they treated us worse. They almost ran over us in that big ship. We could hardly hold onto the boat, women were in danger of falling into the water.”

He stressed there were two babies in the boat, including one just three months old and another 18 months old, adding: “We might have all died. A buddy of mine hasn’t heard from his spouse who’s 5 months pregnant, he is very upset.”

An investigation of the incident continues.

Human rights teams and media retailers have incessantly reported on unlawful pushbacks and different human rights breaches by Greek authorities.

Türkiye and world rights teams have repeatedly condemned Greece’s unlawful follow of pushing again irregular migrants, saying it violates humanitarian values and worldwide legislation by endangering the lives of susceptible migrants, together with ladies and kids.
