The White House mentioned Friday it wished to see Israel’s plan for an operation in Gaza’s Rafah that protects civilians, after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu permitted the army’s proposal for an offensive.
“We haven’t seen it. We certainly would welcome the opportunity to see it,” National Security Council spokesman John Kirby mentioned, including that the United States couldn’t assist any plan with out “credible” proposals to shelter multiple million Gazans.
