A 15-year-old boy was killed in an Israeli army operation within the West Bank on Monday, based on the Palestinian Health Ministry.
The boy suffered gunshot wounds to the top, chest and stomach within the incident that occurred at a refugee camp close to Jericho, the ministry mentioned.
The Israeli military initially solely confirmed that Israeli troops had been on a mission within the camp.
The dying comes as tensions soar within the area. The Israeli military is deployed nearly every day within the occupied West Bank.
