2 Muslim women threatened with gun in Canada

Two Muslim ladies have been threatened with a gun in Kitchener, a metropolis situated west of Canada’s largest metropolis Toronto early Wednesday.

According to a report by CTV News, the ladies mentioned a stranger adopted them together with his automotive after morning prayers and pointed a gun at them.

“We rolled down the window, he rolled down his, then we just saw him pull out his phone and point it at us and we were like, okay that’s weird. And suddenly, in the other hand, he pulled out a gun and pointed it at us,” the daughter advised CTV News.

The ladies have been unhurt, however they have been left in worry and shaken by the incident. The lady drove away, however the man allegedly adopted them for a while.

The suspect is described as a 20-year-old white man carrying a darkish hoodie and a face masks, as reported by Waterloo Regional Police.

The police division tweeted, “Continuing to investigate a report of a weapons incident in the area of Franklin Street North and Ottawa Street North in Kitchener. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or @WaterlooCrime.”

The ladies reported experiencing the incident after leaving the mosque, and so they consider it was hate-motivated.
