Türkiye on Wednesday congratulated Azerbaijan on the thirty second anniversary of the restoration of its independence.

“I congratulate the independence anniversary of Azerbaijan, with whom we have now a singular brotherhood on this planet, with my most heartfelt emotions.


“I convey Türkiye’s greetings to my brother President Ilham Aliyev and all the Azerbaijani people on this pride day,” President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated on X.

The Turkish National Defense Ministry additionally congratulated the folks of Azerbaijan.

“We will always continue to be united with our brothers and sisters with the understanding of ‘One Nation, Two States‘. Long live Türkiye-Azerbaijan brotherhood!” the ministry stated on X.
