At least three individuals had been killed and 5 others injured on Thursday in an explosion believed to have been brought on by a gasoline leak in a residential constructing within the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, an official stated.
“As a result of the explosion in the high-rise building, three people died, five people were injured and 20 were rescued,” Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, stated on Telegram.
Residents of the 16-storey constructing had been being supplied with medical and psychological help, he added.
According to him, a number of flooring and 4 residences had been destroyed, and the broken constructions had been being dismantled with the assistance of cellular cranes and rescue personnel.
