Blasts have been heard in and round Kyiv quickly after midnight on New Year’s Day, Reuters witnesses reported, whereas the emergency providers mentioned air raid sirens have been wailing throughout all Ukraine.
With sirens wailing, some folks in Kyiv shouted from their balconies, “Glory to Ukraine- Glory to heroes.”
Kyiv metropolis and area officers mentioned on the Telegram messaging app that air defence programs have been working. It was not instantly identified whether or not any targets have been hit.
