At least 18 folks had been discovered lifeless in Bulgaria in an deserted truck in a village close to the capital Sofia, the Bulgarian Interior Ministry mentioned on Friday.
“According to initial information, the truck was transporting illegal migrants – a total of about 40 people, who were hiding in a hidden place under transported timber,” the ministry mentioned.
The survivors had been taken to hospital for medical therapy, it mentioned.
