Bulgarian top diplomat to arrive in Türkiye next week

Bulgarian Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel can pay an official go to to Türkiye on Aug. 22 for talks, the Turkish Foreign Ministry introduced on Saturday.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his counterpart Mariya Gabriel will focus on all points of bilateral relations in addition to Türkiye-EU ties, the ministry stated in an announcement.

The ministers may also change views on the present regional and worldwide developments, it added.

Enjoying pleasant and neighborly relations, Türkiye supported the mixing of Bulgaria with the Euro-Atlantic establishments.

Bulgaria joined NATO in 2004 and have become a member of the EU in 2007.
