Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will go to Türkiye on Wednesday for talks, the Turkish Foreign Ministry stated Tuesday.
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Wang will focus on elements of bilateral relations through the assembly, the ministry stated in a press release.
Current regional and world developments can even be on the agenda, it added.
China eliminated Foreign Minister Qin Gang, who was not seen in public for one month and re-appointed Wang as its high diplomat on Tuesday.
Diplomatic relations between Türkiye and China had been established in 1971. Bilateral relations had been elevated to the extent of “strategic cooperation” in 2010.
