Finland’s Moscow embassy has requested Russia to ensure the security of the diplomatic mission following an incident earlier this week during which masked individuals threw sledgehammers into the embassy yard, the Finnish international ministry stated on Friday.

But Finland’s deputy head of mission had “asked Russia to guarantee the security of staff and of the building, in keeping with the Geneva convention on diplomatic relations,” a ministry spokesperson stated.
A video posted on the Telegram app appeared to indicate a gaggle of round 10 folks working in the direction of the constructing and throwing a number of sledgehammers over the fence.
