Fire extinguished at Isfahan power plant in Iran

A big fireplace was extinguished at an influence plant west of the Iranian metropolis Isfahan on Tuesday, state media reported.

“This afternoon, fire broke out in one of the cooling towers of the Isfahan power plant. The fire was extinguished thanks to the rapid response of relief forces and there were no injuries,” the director normal of disaster administration of the Isfahan governorate advised state media.

The Isfahan thermal energy plant has 5 items with a complete technology capability of 830 Megawatts. The cooling tower that caught fireplace is linked to an influence unit with a most output of 320 MW.

The proprietor of the ability plant advised state media the reason for the incident could be introduced after an investigation.
