Two ultralight plane collided close to an aerodrome in northeastern Spain on Sunday, killing 4 passengers, regional authorities mentioned.

Firefighters discovered one aircraft on hearth in a wooded space close to the Moia aerodrome north of Barcelona after being alerted by a witness who noticed it lose altitude and crash, the regional authorities of Catalonia mentioned.

“Once the fire was extinguished, firefighters found two lifeless bodies inside the ultralight (plane),” it mentioned in a press release.

Several hours later firefighters discovered a second broken aircraft with two lifeless folks inside about 300 metres (984 ft) from the primary.

The authorities imagine the 2 plane collided within the air.
