Four individuals have died and numerous others have been injured in an avalanche within the French Alps, inside minister Gerald Darmanin mentioned on Sunday.
The avalanche occurred in the midst of the day on the Armancette glacier, he wrote on Twitter.
Those caught up within the avalanche had been mountaineering within the mountains, in accordance with native media.
President Emmanuel Macron wrote on Twitter that rescue providers had been persevering with to seek for additional casualties and that his ideas had been with the victims and their households.
