G-7 says its committed to intensifying sanctions against Russia over Ukraine war

The Group of Seven (G7) rich nations pledged extra sanctions in opposition to Russia over its conflict in Ukraine following a gathering of international ministers in Japan on Tuesday.

“We remain committed to intensifying sanctions against Russia, coordinating and fully enforcing them,” the G-7 ministers mentioned in an announcement.

”There could be no impunity for conflict crimes and different atrocities similar to Russia’s assaults in opposition to civilians and significant civilian infrastructure,” they added.
