Gabon opposition pressures junta to cede power to civilians

Gabon’s main opposition faction, Alternance 2023 Friday appealed to the worldwide group, urging them to exert stress on the junta chargeable for toppling President Ali Bongo to relinquish authority and restore civilian rule.

The junta has stated little about its fast plans after ending the Bongo household’s nearly six a long time in energy, a transfer that drew cheering crowds onto the streets of Libreville.
