Physicians working at municipal hospitals throughout Germany walked out on Tuesday, demanding higher pay and dealing situations.
In Hamburg, round 2,000 docs marched by the town heart holding placards studying “Good work – good pay” and “Overworked – underpaid.”
The strike focused public hospitals in seven of Germany’s 16 states and personal hospitals as properly in an eighth.
Emergency care was unaffected by the strike.
The Marburger Bund medical commerce union is demanding compensation for inflation for the reason that final pay rise within the autumn of 2021 plus a 2.5% pay enhance for 55,000 hospital docs.
