Heavy rains and storms coming from Italy swept throughout Slovenia‘s Adriatic coast and the west of the nation on Monday.
Gusts of wind tore off the roofs of a stadium and a faculty within the coastal city of Koper, the STA news company reported.
The border city of Tolmin noticed homes and cellars flooded earlier than the storm moved on to northern and central Slovenia.
At the start of the month, flood like-rainfall had triggered a flood catastrophe of historic proportions. The Slovenian authorities estimates the damages at €5 billion ($5.4 billion).
