The Barcelona Firefighters have rescued this Sunday a big snake from a tree on Felipe de Paz avenue within the Les Corts neighborhood of Barcelona.
The Association for the Protection of Exotic Animals of Catalonia (Apaec) will deal with the animal, the firefighters have defined. It took 5 autos from the Fire Department and the collaboration of the Apaec and the Guàrdia Urbana to catch the animal.
According to El Periódico, it’s a python of the molurus species, it was about seven years previous and weighed about 15 kilograms.
The Urban Guard has gone to the scene to learn the way the reptile might have climbed onto the tree department and the place it got here from.
El Periódico consists of the opinion of Teresa Rodríguez, from Apaec, who assures that it’s a shy animal and in no way harmful, and maintains that it should belong to a neighbor within the space.
