No enemy has chance of survival in case of nuclear strike: Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned world powers towards utilizing nuclear weapons, saying that nobody of their proper thoughts would use them towards Moscow.

In response to a query, Putin stated he was not able to declare whether or not or not Russia wanted to renew nuclear weapons testing, saying that “theoretically we could revoke ratification” of the worldwide nuclear check ban treaty.

In a keynote annual speech on the Valdai Discussion Club in Sochi on Thursday, he stated Russia had virtually accomplished work on its nuclear-capable Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile system and efficiently examined the nuclear-powered nuclear-capable Burevestnik strategic cruise missile.

He warned that no enemy stands an opportunity to outlive if Russia launches a retaliatory nuclear strike as its potential is incomparably larger.

Putin stated the Russian navy doctrine offers two causes for using nuclear weapons: as a response to a missile launched on Russian territory and if the existence of the state is threatened.

“To date, there will be no chance for the aggressor to survive in the event of our response … I don’t see the need to change that. No sane person would think of using nuclear weapons against Russia,” he stated.
