NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg stated the army alliance’s leaders haven’t set a timetable for Ukraine to affix the bloc, in a disappointment for President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Zelenskyy earlier stated it will be “absurd” if NATO leaders gathering for a summit didn’t supply his nation a timeframe for membership, after the alliance head stated it will ship Kyiv a “positive message.”
“We will issue an invitation for Kyiv to join NATO when allies agree and conditions are met,” Stoltenebrg advised reporters in Vilnius on Tuesday.
