North Korea fired a ballistic missile off its east coast, South Korea’s army stated on Monday.
The launch comes simply two days after North Korea fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) into the ocean off Japan’s west coast, in what it referred to as a “sudden launching drill”.
Monday’s missile launch is the North’s third main weapons check this 12 months after Pyongyang threatened an “unprecedentedly persistent, strong” response as South Korea and the United States equipped for his or her annual army workout routines as a part of efforts to fend off the rising nuclear and missile risk that the North poses.
