the Amazon Fund, has stated the initiative for backing forest
safety had been reactivated now that Brazilian President
Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva was again in workplace and vowing to halt
deforestation.
“Brazil’s new President has signalled a transparent ambition to
cease deforestation by 2030,” Norwegian Minister of Climate and
Environment Espen Barth Eide stated in an announcement on Monday
asserting revival of the fund, which is aimed toward preventing

“He has reinstated methods to make this occur, and
