Two of former Panamanian president Ricardo Martinelli’s sons had been launched from US jail after serving sentences for corruption and flew again to their nation, with Washington banning the household from re-entering the United States, authorities mentioned.

Luis Enrique and Ricardo Martinelli (namesake of his father) had been admitted receiving $28 million in bribes linked to disgraced Brazilian building large Odebrecht, of which $19 million had handed by US accounts.

Martinelli, 70, who ruled Panama from 2009 to 2014, seeks to run for his nation’s presidency once more in 2024 although he has been summoned to face trial on cash laundering expenses.
