Relatives of deadly Greek train accident file lawsuit against premier

The kinfolk of those that misplaced their lives within the lethal practice accident in late February in Greece have filed a lawsuit towards the nation’s premier, native media reported on Tuesday.

Speaking to native news outlet Larissanet, Christos Konstantinidis, husband of Larisa Vasiliki Chlorou, who misplaced her life within the accident, stated: “We came here to name those responsible for the crime in Tempi, elected and appointed ones in both public and private bodies.”

The lawsuit is directed towards 17 individuals, together with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, former minister of transport, the present minister of transport, the ministers of transport of the 2 earlier governments, and towards the previous and present presidents and administrators of the Greek Railway Organization (OSE), and Hellenic Train firm, it added.

On Feb. 28, a passenger practice collided with a freight practice across the city of Tempi within the northern Larissa space.

A complete of 57 individuals have been killed, together with many college college students and 9 crew members.
