Russia downs two drones as one man killed near border

Russia mentioned it downed two Ukrainian drones flying over border areas on Sunday, after the governor of Belgorod area mentioned a drone carrying explosives had killed a person.

Russia and the Moscow-annexed Crimean peninsula have been hit by a wave of assaults previously month, since Kyiv warned in July it aimed to “return” the battle to Russian territory.

“(During) the night and morning hours… Two unmanned aerial vehicles were detected and destroyed in flight over the territory of the Bryansk and Kursk regions,” Moscow’s defence ministry mentioned.

The governor of Russia’s Kursk area, which lies subsequent to the Ukrainian border, mentioned a drone had crashed into an condo constructing in Kursk metropolis in a single day, blowing out home windows on a number of flooring.
