The Russian Defense Ministry stated on Thursday that 45 Russian servicemen have been returned in a brand new spherical off battle prisoners trade with Ukraine.
“On July 6, as a result of the negotiation process, 45 Russian servicemen who were in mortal danger in captivity were returned from the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime,” the ministry stated in a press release.
The servicemen shall be transported by navy transport plane of the Russian Aerospace Forces to medical establishments of the Defense Ministry for therapy and rehabilitation, it added.
More than 2,000 prisoners have been exchanged between Russia and Ukraine for the reason that battle started in February 2022, based on figures compiled by Anadolu.
