Russia‘s Foreign Ministry condemned on Saturday what it referred to as Ukraine‘s “terrorist attack” on the Crimean Bridge, saying it put harmless civilians’ lives in danger, and vowed retaliation.
“There can be no justification for such barbaric actions and they will not go unanswered,” ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova mentioned in a press release on the Telegram messaging app.
Earlier, Russia’s Defence Ministry mentioned its forces had thwarted a Ukrainian rocket assault on the 12-mile (19 km) bridge, which hyperlinks Russian-annexed Crimea to Russia throughout the Kerch Strait.
