The United States and South Korea pledged to make Russia and North Korea “pay the price” for army cooperation, as they urged Moscow to behave responsibly as a everlasting member of the U.N. Security Council, in response to the South Korean deputy international minister.

“The recent reports about the potential sale of arms between North Korea and Russia are concerning and any such transfer of arms would violate U.N. Security Council resolutions,” stated Bonnie Jenkins throughout a news convention after the assembly.

Jenkins reiterated that the U.S. maintains its stance that any nuclear assault by North Korea on Washington or its allies, together with South Korea, could be deemed “unacceptable and result at the end of that regime.”

In a much-watched assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean chief Kim Jung-un met Wednesday in Amur in Russia’s Far East.

Before the assembly, Kim stated they needed to reinforce their relationship with Russia additional, including that he at all times supported Putin and the Russian authorities’s selections.
