County within the US state of Virginia have been arrested and charged with
second-degree homicide within the dying of a Black man who was being
transported to a psychological well being facility from jail.

Suspect Irvo Otieno, 28, died on March 6 as he was being admitted to
Central State Hospital in Petersburg, Virginia, Dinwiddie County
Commonwealth Attorney Ann Cabell Baskervill mentioned in a written
assertion on Wednesday. Petersburg is in central Virginia, roughly 40 km south of Richmond.

“Mr. Otieno’s household was notified by my workplace this morning
of those fees and I’ll proceed to work with and for his
household in relation to pursuing this case to its fullest extent,”
Cabell Baskervill mentioned.

Medical examiners haven’t launched a reason for dying for
Otieno. Prosecutors say they had been instructed Otieno was restrained

household and pals of Mr. Irvo Otieno,” Henrico County Sheriff
Alisa Gregory mentioned in a written assertion launched to WWBT.

“The occasions of March 6, at their core, symbolize a tragedy
