Somalia on Saturday stated its military had “foiled” an assault by the al-Shabaab terrorist group within the central state of Galmudug.
The assault by the al Qaeda-affiliated group started with a suicide bombing, adopted by heavy combating because the insurgents sought to recapture Osweine, a village within the Galgadud area that Somali authorities had lately liberated from the fear group, the Defense Ministry stated in a quick assertion.
