Türkiye has taken over the helm of NATO’s Response Force Maritime Component from the UK for one 12 months.
The command of the NATO part might be carried out by the Turkish Maritime Force (TURMARFOR) till January 31, 2024.
Rear Admiral Huseyin Tigli, head of TURMARFOR and the Turkish Surface Action Forces, stated NATO has 5 headquarters with this functionality and TURMARFOR’s headquarters is one in every of these 5.
