Ukraine on Monday claimed that it carried out “successful” offensives towards Russia within the southern Zaporizhzhia area over the previous week.
“In the south, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions. In the direction of Mala Tokmachka-Robotyne of the Zaporizhzhia region, they were successful,” Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar stated on Telegram.
Maliar claimed that the Ukrainian forces have retaken management of a complete of 204.7 sq. kilometers (79 sq. miles) of land within the south, together with 12.6 sq. kilometers (4.8 sq. miles) during the last week.
On the jap entrance, she stated that Russian forces continued to focus their important efforts within the instructions of Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka, including that greater than 170 battles came about in these instructions throughout the previous week.
