Ukrainian forces recapture Staromaiorske, village in south-east

Kiev reported on Thursday that its forces have recaptured the village of Staromaiors’ke within the south-east of Ukraine.

“Our South! Our boys! Glory to Ukraine!” wrote President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram on Thursday night. He printed a video, which was reportedly recorded within the village to the south of the Donetsk area.

The video reveals a number of troopers introducing themselves as fighters of the thirty fifth Brigade and holding a Ukrainian flag. One of the lads says they’ve fully liberated Staromaiors’ke.

Ukraine has been defending itself towards Russia’s warfare of aggression for greater than 17 months. Just over seven weeks in the past, it started a counteroffensive to liberate occupied territories.
