The White House mentioned on Monday there isn’t a indication of aliens or extraterrestrial exercise after a collection of shoot-downs of unidentified objects over North American airspace.

“I know there have been questions and concerns about this, but there is no, again no indication of aliens or extraterrestrial activity with these recent takedowns,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre mentioned.

On Sunday, a U.S. Air Force common mentioned he wouldn’t rule out aliens or every other rationalization but, deferring to U.S. intelligence specialists.

The common’s feedback got here throughout a Pentagon briefing on Sunday after a U.S. F-16 fighter jet shot down an octagonal-shaped object over Lake Huron on the U.S.-Canada border. It was the third shootdown of an unidentified object following the Feb. 4 downing of a Chinese balloon off the South Carolina coast that put North American air defenses on excessive alert.

U.S. officers mentioned that balloon was getting used for surveillance.

Another U.S. protection official, talking on situation of anonymity, mentioned the army had seen no proof suggesting any of the objects in query have been of extraterrestrial origin.

“I don’t think the American people need to worry about aliens with respect to these crafts, period,” White House spokesman John Kirby mentioned throughout a White House briefing with reporters on Monday.

The incidents come because the Pentagon has undertaken a brand new push lately to analyze army sightings of UFOs – rebranded in official authorities parlance as “unidentified aerial phenomena,” or UAPs.

The authorities’s effort to analyze anomalous, unidentified objects – whether or not they’re in area, the skies and even underwater – has led to a whole lot of documented studies which might be being investigated, senior army leaders have mentioned.
