A 500-kilo World War II bomb found in an japanese a part of Berlin was defused on Thursday night after 15,000 individuals from 27 blocks of flats have been evacuated, the police mentioned.

The evacuation included shifting occupants of three daycare centres, three colleges, an after-school daycare and retailers, they mentioned.

The police introduced on Twitter that the bomb had been defused and all closures had been lifted.

Workers found the World War II bomb at a tennis courtroom on Tuesday. About 350 police have been concerned within the evacuation.
