The YPG/PKK terror group in northern Syria fired rockets into the Türkiye-Syria border space on Friday, in keeping with an Anadolu reporter on the bottom.
Rockets fired by members of the YPG/PKK terror group in northern Syria landed within the Oncupinar Border Gate space in Türkiye’s southern Kilis province, the reporter mentioned.
“A total of 8 multi-barrel rocket launchers (MLRS), which were fired into our country by the YPG/PKK terrorist organization from Syria, landed in our Oncupinar region in Kilis. We have no casualties or injuries,” the Governorate of Kilis mentioned in a press release.
Increasing measures within the area, Turkish safety forces launched a counter-offensive towards terror targets.
Savas Kutay, one of many truck drivers on the border gate, instructed Anadolu that they heard explosions whereas they have been within the border space and tried to guard themselves.
“Sounds were heard all over the border gate, we also saw the smoke,” he added.
