Zelensky says Ukraine received reinforcement for air defense systems

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated Wednesday that Kyiv acquired reinforcements to its air protection methods.

“I heard the current reports on the supply of weapons and ammunition. There is reinforcement of our air defense system. It will be directed to where it is most needed right now,” he wrote on Telegram.

Forbes journal reported July 24 that based on its knowledge, Western international locations provided Kyiv with about 20 SAMP-T, Patriot, Iris-T, NASAMS, Crotale and different air protection methods.

The U.S. additionally intends to purchase 12 MIM-23 Hawk air protection methods from Taiwan to switch to Ukraine, based on media experiences.
